Survey companies don't even have 1/4 of a million. Do you think they care about giving you money? In this economy, those survey companies won't have enough money to put food on their table if they actually gave everyone money online. Besides, the only people with that kind of money will TAKE years to make. The only people that will give you 10,000,000 like that is Ellen Dgeneres, Paris Hilton, and possibly Barack Obama, and Bill Gates. Not many people have more than 1,000,000 dollars, the most any average family will have ever is 100,000 dollars. People do these scams because they want you to keep searching for make- believe miracles that will never happen. They make you believe that there's other ways to get money than working for it. Then, you end up not working for it, and still sitting on your couch on the computer looking on google for searches like "How to get rich FAST". You and everyone else will never get rich fast if you don't work for the money like celebrities(song writing). I hope this gives you a piece of mind. Good luck in this economy! Then you have internet marketing but i think you would have more luck with door to door sales. This basically involves selling someones product for a high commission. You could sign up with clickbank, select products to promote, build a mailing list then spam the hell out of people in the hope of geting sales, or you could sign up as a publisher, create a product to sell through clickbank then offer a high commision for all their best promoters to sell for you. Then you have paid surveys which take all your time and pay very little, or you have scams. The only reliable ways of earning are through programmes such as google adsense or kontera, where you create a web site and place google ads on it or kontera ads. When someone clicks an ad you get paid. Payments can be low or high but you can never tell. A good income would come from a high traffic website. You could also put those ads on as many sites as you like, and sites such as blogger and hub pages also allow you to put your google, kontera, and amazon ads on. The advantage here being that they are high traffic sites. Other than that and a few other uninteresting methods, you could create an interesting web site which will draw visitors, and team up with a marketting company like yahoo or google does. These pay you for data about visitors browsing habits. Really the only way to make money on the net is by investing a lot of time or money. (I've been at it for 2 years now). Part of my skepticism was the "ONLY startup book you'll ever need" banner on the front cover. <br/><br/>However, after living with Start Your Own Business for several months, and finding myself not only referring back to it, but also recommending it to family members and friends, I now realize the banner isn't a claim, but is a credible statement. The amount of detail inside, along with dozens of worksheets, makes this an ideal handbook to be kept within reach at all times. <br/><br/>The book's length, 700+ pages, also was an initial concern. Who has time to read 700+ pages? But, that's not a valid concern, for the same reason that the Physicians Desk Reference doesn't have to be "read" as much as "referred to" as needed. At first I was skeptical; now I’m a fan, December 1, 2010

I was originally skeptical when I received an early copy of Start Your Own Business. Part of my skepticism was the “ONLY startup book you’ll ever need” banner on the front cover.

However, after living with Start Your Own Business for several months, and finding myself not only referring back to it, but also recommending it to family members and friends, I now realize the banner isn’t a claim, but is a credible statement. The amount of detail inside, along with dozens of worksheets, makes this an ideal handbook to be kept within reach at all times.

The book’s length, 700+ pages, also was an initial concern. Who has time to read 700+ pages? But, that’s not a valid concern, for the same reason that the Physicians Desk Reference doesn’t have to be “read” as much as “referred to” as needed. The detailed table of contents, which organizes chapters into 8 main sections, makes it easy to locate the information you desire.

Start Your Own Business is a great resource that brings everything together in one place for both startups and serial entrepreneurs.

(DVD)</b> </div> This DVD is a true bargain compiling 4 of Don Knotts' most popular films onto one nicely priced disc! This DVD collects 4 of the 5 films that Knotts made in the 60s where he had the lead role (the exception being 1964's "The Incredible Mr. Limpet"). The DVD is a flip disc with two films on each side. Side A has "The Ghost & Mr. Chicken" and "The Reluctant Astronaut", while side B has "The Shakiest Gun in the West" and "The Love God?". Another great aspect is that these films are in chronological order of original release from 1966-1969. In other words, these 4 films were released back to back. For those that are fans of Knotts' films or the live action Disney films of the 60s & 70s, these will be a rare treat to own. Great fun, exceptable for the entire family (with the possible exception of "The Love God?" which contains some mild adult humor, obviously tame by today's standard, but still maybe inappropriate for some ages). Knotts plays almost the same character in every film and just as the title of the set implies, he is at first reluctant, then the hero. For those unfamiliar with the films, here are some very brief plots: <br/><br/>Side A <br/>The Ghost & Mr. Chicken (1966) - Knotts is Luther Heggs, a local wanna be reporter who stays a night in the local haunted house on a dare. After Arthur witnesses some spooky happenings, no one believes him, including his boss George Beckett (Dick Sargent). It's up to Arthur to prove to the town that the old house has a ghost. Considered to be one of Knott's most successful films. <br/><br/>The Reluctant Astronaut (1967) - Knotts stars as Roy Fleming, employee at the local carnival where he dresses up as an astronaut. After his Dad sends his application to NASA, Roy is actually contacted, but to be a janitor! Luckily Major Fred Gifford (Leslie Nielsen with dark hair!) gives him a big chance to take a test flight into space. Classic stuff. <br/><br/>Side B <br/>The Shakiest Gun in the West (1968) - from the same director as Mr. Chicken, Knotts plays Dr. Jesse W. Heywood, a nervous dentist who you'd think would be the last guy to get involved with gun selling bad guys. Along the way he meets a beautiful sharpshooting outlaw, Penelope 'Bad Penny' Cushings (Barbara Rhodes). You might call this film a precursor to the Apple Dumpling Gang films where Knotts starred alongside Tim Conway. <br/><br/>The Love God? (1969) - definitely the most unique in the bunch because of it's subject matter. Knotts plays Abner Audubon Peacock, owner of Peacock Magazine for bird watchers. Abner himself is a bird watcher and is on the verge of losing his magazine when a second party offers to help him keep publishing it. While Abner is away collecting photos for his return issue, he arrives home to find his magazine is being used to publish pornography! For me this was the most enjoyable only because I had never seen it and watching Knotts within the context of the subject was hilarious. Again the humor is mostly for young adults and older here, the film was actually rerated PG-13 while all three other films are NR or G ratings. <br/><br/>I highly recommend the set to fans of the genre or style. For Don Knotts fans it's a no brainer. 4 great films on one low priced DVD. I can tell you all four films look and sound great. Don’t be reluctant about grabbing up the Don!, October 21, 2004

This DVD is a true bargain compiling 4 of Don Knotts’ most popular films onto one nicely priced disc! This DVD collects 4 of the 5 films that Knotts made in the 60s where he had the lead role (the exception being 1964′s “The Incredible Mr. Limpet”). The DVD is a flip disc with two films on each side. Side A has “The Ghost & Mr. Chicken” and “The Reluctant Astronaut”, while side B has “The Shakiest Gun in the West” and “The Love God?”. Another great aspect is that these films are in chronological order of original release from 1966-1969. In other words, these 4 films were released back to back. For those that are fans of Knotts’ films or the live action Disney films of the 60s & 70s, these will be a rare treat to own. Great fun, exceptable for the entire family (with the possible exception of “The Love God?” which contains some mild adult humor, obviously tame by today’s standard, but still maybe inappropriate for some ages). Knotts plays almost the same character in every film and just as the title of the set implies, he is at first reluctant, then the hero. For those unfamiliar with the films, here are some very brief plots:

Side A
The Ghost & Mr. Chicken (1966) – Knotts is Luther Heggs, a local wanna be reporter who stays a night in the local haunted house on a dare. After Arthur witnesses some spooky happenings, no one believes him, including his boss George Beckett (Dick Sargent). It’s up to Arthur to prove to the town that the old house has a ghost. Considered to be one of Knott’s most successful films.

The Reluctant Astronaut (1967) – Knotts stars as Roy Fleming, employee at the local carnival where he dresses up as an astronaut. After his Dad sends his application to NASA, Roy is actually contacted, but to be a janitor! Luckily Major Fred Gifford (Leslie Nielsen with dark hair!) gives him a big chance to take a test flight into space. Classic stuff.

Side B
The Shakiest Gun in the West (1968) – from the same director as Mr. Chicken, Knotts plays Dr. Jesse W. Heywood, a nervous dentist who you’d think would be the last guy to get involved with gun selling bad guys. Along the way he meets a beautiful sharpshooting outlaw, Penelope ‘Bad Penny’ Cushings (Barbara Rhodes). You might call this film a precursor to the Apple Dumpling Gang films where Knotts starred alongside Tim Conway.
